KyoungilSystem

Privacy policy

KyoungilSystem handles personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea. This page summarizes what we collect through this website, why, and how long we keep it. The Korean text is authoritative; 개인정보처리방침.

1. What we collect

We collect the following through the inquiry form on this website.

  • Required — name, email address, message
  • Optional — company name
  • Collected automatically — truncated IP address, browser string, timestamp

2. Why we collect it

Solely to answer your inquiry, prepare a quotation, and prevent automated spam submissions. We do not use it for anything else, and we will ask for fresh consent if that ever changes.

3. How long we keep it

One year after the inquiry is closed, then deleted without delay — unless a law requires us to retain it longer, in which case we keep it only for the period that law specifies.

4. Sharing

We do not share your information with third parties, except where a law requires it or a law-enforcement authority requests it through lawful process.

5. Where it is stored

On a server we operate ourselves in South Korea. Processing is not outsourced. Notification email travels through our email provider's delivery infrastructure.

6. Your rights

You may ask at any time to see, correct, delete, or stop the processing of your information. Contact us and we will act without delay and tell you what we did.

7. How we destroy it

Once the retention period passes or the purpose is met, electronic records are permanently erased by a method that makes recovery impossible; any printed copy is shredded or incinerated.

8. Security

Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Inquiry records are stored outside the web server's public directory and cannot be reached over the web. Access is limited to the staff who answer inquiries.

Any change to this policy is announced on this website at least seven days before it takes effect.
